Roosevelt Children's Academy

Approved by the State University Trustees in January 2000, Roosevelt Children's Academy opened its doors in September of that same year, offering education from Kindergarten to 4th Grade.

This public charter school is the result from a need of the Members of the Roosevelt community for a public education alternative to the Roosevelt School District, after the state laws placed it under special supervision of the State Education Department, becoming Long Island’s first public charter school.

The institutional partner of Roosevelt Children's Academy is Victory Schools, Inc., provides safe, academically enriching courses, managing a curriculum built on the principle that all children can learn and integrates the school's academic program meeting the state standards improving the students performance in English, mathematics, science and language arts.

Located in Roosevelt, New York, Roosevelt Children's Academy (RCA) serves approximately 300 students from Roosevelt and surrounding communities with its innovative research-based academic curriculum and extended school day, with a high degree of individualized instruction.
