Providing high quality academic programs from Kindergarten to 12th Grade, graduates to College reach 85% of the students’ population. Riverhead School District systematically reviews and upgrades each area of the curriculum to make sure that it is aligned with the new standards and testing.

Of particular notoriety are the English and Language Arts, courses, the Math Program, and Science 21, an integrated K-6 science curriculum developed either locally or regionally at the Putnam, Northern Westchester BOCES, as an science program designed by teachers for teachers, emphasizing on investigations that are relevant to students.
