Greenport School District
Greenport is a school district of 680 students housed in one 1932 beautiful public works building that was designed to accommodate 1,100 students. The district offers a comprehensive curriculum and extensive co-curricular programs where numerous activities are shared with neighboring districts.
Our multicultural student population of 18% African American, 16% Hispanic, and 65% white is a microcosm of our country and provides a wonderful opportunity to learn from each other. All classes are heterogeneously grouped and students regularly score above the national norms on standardized test scores, even though half of our students receive free lunches. |
