South Country Central School District

Located on the south shore of Long Island, in the Township of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, The South County Central School District comprises one Pre-Kindergarten Program, three Elementary Schools, one Intermediate School, one Middle School, and one High School in 16 square miles area.

This district has a strategic plan to help organizations in its community to plan for the future. Centrally located 50 miles West of Montauk Point and 50 miles East of New York City, Collegial Circles help with proficiency their community.

Such circles are groups of students and individuals working together to solve community's issues, in the belief that through planning process, organizations can identify any impediments that may get in the way of their goals for success.

South Country Central School District has also a very successful inclusion program at each grade level in all schools, to place disabled children in regular education. This way the district achieve its goal to educate all students, helping them to develop their individual skills so each one can reach their fullest potential.
