I was hoping that a teacher out there or administrator would have some advice on my situation:

My daughter has been going to day care in Queens for a few years. In queens the school year goes from december 31
where as in nassau county where we live it goes from december 1.

Her last year of daycare is this year but she cannot get into kindergarten becayse her birthday is december 10th, 9 days past
the cut off. We did not want her to repeat the last year of daycare again and were told that the school might accept her next year into
the second year if she passed a test.

We signed her up with Solomon Schecter in westbury for next year but are now having trouble getting her there - the school bus for the school
picks up in our area but they use the same rules as the public school (the bus is a public service) , telling us that she is too young for the bus to pick her up (they even wont pick her up when she is 5 in december).

Can anyone suggest a private bus service that would do this - we live in Roslyn and the school is in Westbury.
