I am currently a first year student at Suffolk County Community College after graduating from St. John the Baptist DHS last summer, and I feel there a blocks of time in my schedule that need filling. The first job I could think of doing that I would enjoy is the opportunity to coach a young kid's sports team. I'm around the Southern part of Long Island, Western Suffolk but not far from Eastern Nassau. I played sports in youth organizations my whole elementary life, and I would love the opportunity to give back to these organizations that helped me in the past. My #1 speciality would be a coach for a basketball squad, because I have played in several youth organizations (CYO, CYL) on Long Island when I was younger and have an enhanced comprehensive knowledge of this sport. However, I also have the knowledge it would require to teach sports like Football (Flag or Tackle), Dodgeball, Hockey, Baseball, and Soccer. I am mainly available at times that would be after-school times for these kids, typically the times I remember from being in these organizations. I think I could really help out and would love to be given some sort of opportunity.
