Why is it that in Farmingville we are cracking down on housing that has more than 7 people (or families) in a house but when it is conveinent for our Officials to deal with the Sex offenders it is o.k. to  stuff 12 to a house in Mastic, Shirley? I get messages almost on a daily basis warning me that level 1, 2, 3 offenders have moved into my district. Conveinence is the only logical reasoning. Cheap housing, people too inundated with their own work schedules to fight the practice. Hey maybe placing playgrounds every 500 feet would allow us to "legally" move them out of the community (once they pass the law). So throw the Mexican's to the curb and house the Sex Offenders- this is not a good double standard to set. What does it say about our Society. I do not promote "illegal Immigration" it is not a sustainable practice to our economy. But I am concerned that we take more action on them than the Sex Offenders. Level 3 offenders are VIOLENT, and PREDICTED to do the CRIME again...my concern is if we KNOW THIS and our COURT SYSTEM LABELS them this way then WHY EVEN LET THEM OUT???? TO DESTROY ANOTHER LIFE??? I emplore you to please write your Senators and Congress People and let them know you wish to send the proper message about our CULTURE. WE DO NOT SUPPORT a system that frees those we KNOW are GOING to HURT ANOTHER CHILD or HUMAN BEING....

I absolutely agree with you. This is the most outrageous and stupid thing for our officials to do. They are not protecting our children or us. They are more concerned with the rights of criminals who have already distroyed lives, and they are less concerned with the lives of good citizens and defenseless children. Please write your senators and council men and women. make your voices heard, let us protect our children before it is too late. Stand up and voice your opinion, let us take the time to save our children because our polititians and elected officials are busy being political.

THEY ARE NOT CITIZENS!!!  GET IN LINE AND ENTER THE COURTY IN A NORMAL, RESPECTFUL MANNER AND IT WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM.  IT'S NOT FAIR TO THOSE WHO OBEY THE LAW.

I don't want sex offenders here either.  I thinkk they should all be castrated and locked away for the rest of their lives without possibility of parole.  They should pay the price for their crimes.  Rehabilitation doesn't work.  I hate liberals with their "rehabilitation" and the way they have ruined our country.

But illegal immigrants don't pay taxes and their kids get a free public education.  That is not fair to the taxpayers.  Why do the Mexicans think they should get special treatment?  Everyone else who came to this country learned how to speak English.  Why should companies cater to these folks and say things like "Por espanol, press numero dos".  Get off your lazy butts, learn how to speak English and pay taxes like the rest of us or go back to where you came from.  If I went to live in a foreign country, I'd learn how to speak the native language.

Nothing against Mexicans in particular but my brother fell off a ladder in his driveway working on his roof and was rushed to ER at Good Sam hospital with very very serious injuries. Somehow a dr that was not participating on  his health plan ( he is a NYC fireman so not many doctors are NOT on that plan) and he nows owes that DR $40,000.00. I do not understand how that can happen.
When "Jose" from Mexico falls off the roof anywhere do you think that he even GETS a bill?????
Now THAT pisses me off.

Illegal's break the law and its unfair too home owners in long Island. As a US citizens my children have to pay of food ? in school? but an illegal can get food assistance at home and free meals in Long Island Schools? off my taxes?  I can't imagine educated people on here are so blind not to combine illegal's & crimminals in general ? Do you think I can bring my family to Mexico or any other country and get a free ride as they do here? if your liberal views have caused crimminals into your area's guess you get what you give. Now you complain about MOLESTERS who break the law and live 17 to a home but yet if I see a point here having numerous illegals is a residance is ok ? The fact of the matter is that using the law when its covinet to you rather than using our laws as society as a whole mandated you get what you get. Our taxes and exspences as a working US citizen is being depleted as the illegal population increases. What working tax paying family can have 5 kids ? but if your illegal just look in any hospital ER on a good day and see who's getting free care. Take a stop at the Social Seurity office while your out there. Imagine you work all your life for $1500 in Social Seurity and $98.00 for medicare monthly but if your an illegal this is what you get $800.00 cash monthly, $400.00 Food stamps, Free rental apartment $ 26.000 yearly, free medical care and education. = $ 40.400 OH YES FREE FOOD in the LONG ISLAND SCHOOL SYSTEM?  NYC Kids don't pay this? for a meal. Here we go again always someone has a deal ..

You are totally clueless.  Can you even read a ballot?  I doubt it.  You don't even know the difference between conservatives and liberals.  Conservatives are wishy-washy and too afraid to do the right thing for fear of offending people; liberals go ahead and do the wrong thing because its "politically correct".  The liberals are the ones responsible for the illegal aliens and sex offenders doing whatever they please, without punishment to fit the crime.  They're the ones who started this press 2 for Spanish crap, pretending that they "care" about the poor.  Meanwhile, they all live in McMansions and like you, don't have a clue about what it's like to struggle here legally.  ---- the liberals, ---- the spics, and ---- you!!!

WoW, i hear this often at school but I never thought people were actually so ignorant. First of all understand that most of the so called illegal immigrants that are from Latino America are forced here because of the economic distress in their country, and what's worse is that United States Citizens are responsible for that distress. (i,e, United Fruit Company, Banks, CIA, FBI and of course the Executive branch of the government) to answer someone's post about whether or not a U.S citizen can go to Mexico or any other Latino American Country and get the benefits that <b>UNDOCUMENTED</b> immigrants get here, the answer is YES, because U.S citizens skew the system in these countries and further deplete the system. See a Latino American immigrant in the U.S has to re-certify their professional status in the U.S, meanwhile U.S citizens in Latino America prance in the country and do NOT do any of this why? because of the U.S education is "far more advanced" than any country in Latin America.

As long as U.S citizens are allowed to do as they please in the Latino American countries, they will not understand the struggle of these immigrants. Whats funny about the whole situation is that these same people do not complain when these same individuals are the ones cooking thier meal at their local Friday's or Applebee's, yet when they "dare" to intrude their neighborhood in search for the same dreams that U.S Citizens search for is when they want to cry foul.

Finally, to touch on another point, someone said "America was founded by Immigrants" sure yes we know can we be more cliche? Yet, another person answered "Yes and they registed" ARE YOU AN ABSOLUTE MORON? With whom did the pilgrims register with? I dont recall ever seeing a document signed by any British deserter registering with any Chief, nor did Columbus, Vespucci or any other explorer ask for permission at the port to come onto NATIVE AMERICAN TERRITORY. Let's also not forget that the UNITED STATES is not AMERICA. Its is part of the Americas and so is El Salvador, Argentina, Costa Rica and every other country in the Western Hemisphere.

I wonder what the Native Americans are saying because we speak English not some Native American tongue. I also don't remember Christopher Columbus having PERMISSION to enter the United States either. Pediphiles should not be tolerated in any community. But come on guys, these two issues are of two different entities.

Illegals or sex offenders...they are both not welcomed in my town.  Unfortunately, we haven't gotten angry enough to get our butts off the couch and tell our government enough is enough.  Those that were running for President, that would have done something about this problem was not given the forum to get the word out.  This country is being taken over by everyone but Americans.  But as long as our goal is to buy big screen tvs and have 300 channels to take up our time, I think the invasion will take place without too much notice!

I bet you have a lifestyle that allows you to run into the illegal gardener only once in a while.  I live in Bay Shore, and although this was a nice quiet mixed neighborhood; I don't think anyone on this block wants the mix to be 15 illegals living next door, or the bike illegal getting off his bike to urinate on your lawn!

Forced here!  Every country that is successful came about by their citizens making a country that works.  Those that crawl on their belly to get here only want a free ride.  The energy they used to crawl here and enter this country undocumented is a slap in the face for all those that go through the proper channels.  Let them use that energy to solve their own problems in their own country.  People like you will only think this out when you end up using your telelphone, and hearing "press 1 for Spanish".  English will certainly become the second language to this country if you keep letting these Illegals have their anchor babies, and stay!
