will tell you the average salary for both nassau and suffolk plus the average for each district and the pay for all administrators making over 100k and these numbers are from 2004-05.

Nassau is about 75k and Suffolk is like 66k

Are the jobs just as hard to find on Long Island to teach high school music.

I would guess music would be one of the harder jobs to get.

The music majors have to make money somehow.

Obviously jobs in english and social studies will be harder to find than math and science. Math and science are much harder subjects to teach and fewer people want to go through the schooling to become a math or science teacher.
