Any Guidance Counselors hear about the NY State Junior Miss Scholarship Program? This is open to any senior high school girl looking for money for college. We are truly a scholarship program because the girl that is awarded any scholarship money has to be registered at a college to receive this. We only release the award directly to the college. Before you think of us as a "beauty pageant" please visit our website at www.ajm.org/newyork. We will be holding a preliminary in White Plains on Saturday 11/11/06 from 10 am - 3 pm. If you know of any senior girl who would like to participate, please don't hesitate to email me at lestafone@hotmail.com. We have had past participants from your area including these schools: Brentwood, West Islip, Northport, Nyack, Far Rockaway, Long Island City and Bayside just to name a few.
