As a parent of a recent High School Graduate, I must say its been a hell of a 4 yrs. that has to been the worst high school ever. I would like to know why
1. why one hundred students did not graduate this year. (do you care how that looks).
2. whats with the teachers there, if a student is failing and not doing well they dont call, or send paper work until its too late. or call after the report has already been sent. what the hell is the parent supposed to do after the fact. the time to call the parent is during the term when you can help the student not after. and if the kid is a last minute charles and hands in stuff late all the time , call the parent or post it in parent connect which seem to be another joke. parents can not do anything if they dont know about it.
3. I know the seniors pull a dumb prank this yr and I dont agree with what they did but punishing the whole school is stupid too. taking away cells phones when they could be an emergency is not very smart, nor closeing the student parking lots so the kids have to park on the street so they can gets tickets wasnt bright either.
4. and why in Gods name would you give seniors a regent exam on the second week of June this way if they fail either they dont graduate or have to go to summer school to make it up.
Thank God my kid is out of that school !
