My husband and I pay all our taxes to oyster bay. We live in Massapequa 11758 but our children are zoned to Amityville schools as well as the library. every thing else we do in the town, as far as pool, parks, beaches, voting , fire, police, even garbage collection, is done as Massapequa residents. I would like to know, Am I a Massapequa resident of Nassau or a Sulfolk resident? Where and how much of my school tax money is going into Massapequa school district that my children can not benefit from? I need some one to tell me where i can find public documents of where the heck my money is going because Amityville school district is poorly funded...Why????
