I am currently a paraprofessional at the NYC Dept of Ed at P.S.48 in Brooklyn. I am moving to New Hyde Park in July and would like to obtain information on how I can transfer to the schools in the area. I was looking online and it turns out that the BOE in Long Island is a different school system than NYC DOE.
I am wondering if there are paraprofessional (special education teaching assistants) jobs in the Nassau area. Where can I obtain the information?
If anyone has any information, please let me know.
