 what is the cut off date for children's birthdays for those children entering kindergarten? we are moving to manhasset hills and need to know what the cut off date is.

 generally, child must be 5 yrs old by Dec 1st to enter kindergarten.  not sure about mahassett

 My daughter will be five on Dec. 5th...can she enter kinderg.. this year or will she lose a year?
