In California, someone I know is taking a self-schooling sort of program, where she only goes to school once a week to meet with a teacher (or counselor) who gives her tests on the chapters she was supposed to review at home. It's like homeschooling, but the students teaches him or herself. And the program requires the student to br under 18.
I was wondering if Long Island, or more specifically the Longwood area had a program like that. If they do, please give me more information.
