T-shirts, jeans, sneakers, tube tops and other casual wear which is totally inappropriate for a learning environment. Playclothes should be for playtime, not school. I think it is disgraceful the way the public school students are dressed. They should have a dress code. Shame on the lowlife parents who think that it is acceptable to send their children to school dressed like sluts and slobs. In the workforce you will need to wear a uniform or at least conform to a dress code. But the public school caters to the lowest common denominator and prepares children for low-level jobs, jail and rehab, while the private school prepares superior students to be high achievers and have successful careers as CEOs, doctors, lawyers, etc. Face it, there are highly motivated public school students in the wealthy districts who do ok. But generally the public school is for the students who aren't motivated, well-behaved or intelligent enough to be accepted into a private school.
