Reading Test Books - 2/9/2007 10:36:21 PM

Hi there!

I have a seven year old son and tonight at the dinner table we were working on his reading skills and making words off of the ketchup bottle.  My mother and I started talking about what school was like for us when we were little.  Then we started to talk about these books/reading tests that we used to have to take when we were in elementary school.

I attended George Washington Elementary.  You would get the books out of the white box they were in which were color coded.  Once you were finished with that particular book you were reading, you had to take the test.  Then you graduated unto the next color.  We are racking our brains and are going to lose sleep because we don't know what this reading/test material was called.

Can anyone please help us out?  Thank you so much!!!!

Take Care!
