Northport vs Kings Park school district

Status: offline 		I am currently in the Northport School district which meshes well with my child's abilities (music and art).
Iam very interested in moving to a house in Ft Salonga but the district is Kings Park.  Can  anyone tell me what this district is like?  Do they have summer music?  I also heard that Kings Park has a system of teaching that concurs with a child's learning style.  Is this system still used?  Do you have to be evaluated or "placed" to get into this program?
