I am hoping to get the word out about the great things happening in the Malverne public schools. 3 of the 4 are award winning Blue Ribbon schools and one of our teachers was recently named New York State Teacher of the Year. Malverne schools have suffered with a poor reputation in recent years due to a revolving door at the administration level. We are fortunate to now have a highly accredited and commited superintendent and staff. The teachers are incredible and it shows in the students. Test scores are rising every year,the middle school was just chosen as an example for schools nationwide to study. I am excited to be sending my child to Kindergarten this fall. Our biggest problem is realtors being uninformed about the district. If your considering Malverne as a place to live call the schools and take a tour and do your homework online. You will be pleasantly surprised by what you see!

This is good to know, thank you for that information. We are looking to move in Nassau county and the school district will dictate where we move so I've been doing tons of research on-line. Does anyone else know of a great school district? Any information that's provided will be greatly appreciated.
