Goodies in Iraq - 11/22/2007 5:44:20 AM

Hello,

My name is Daryl LaFountain and I work for the United States Air Force.  I am currently stationed in Iraq and recently received a nice little goody bag full of treats from the children and parents of Commack Elementary School.  I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate what you did for myself and the troops over here.  It is the nice little surprises like that that really help keep the moral at a high level over here.  Thank you so much for taking the time to do such a wonderful thing for us.  It is hard being away from home, but I am amazed how Americans that I have never even met before can touch my heart from 7,000 miles away.  Thank you so much for supporting us, and god bless you.

Respectfully,

Daryl LaFountain

P.S. - Please pass my thanks along to all of the parents and the children.  They did a wonderful job. :)

I am entering this post with Commack in the subject.  Hopefully a Commack parent or teacher will respond.  I don't live near Commack put thought the school should see this soldiers post.
