The Plainview/Old Bethpage School district is highly regarded.

I don't have an exact answer but GreatSchools.net has a list of reputable schools in the country with parent reviews.

Does anyone know why Amityville SD# 6 is so bad?  I was thinking about moving to Massapequa SD#6.
