Dix Hills Schools / Melville - 1/27/2007 6:10:25 PM

HI All,

I am starting to look into areas in Suffolk where my wife and I may move.  We have heard great things about the Dix Hills schools.  I also heard that some parts of Melville go to the Dix Hills schools.  Does anyone know if that is true and if so, where I can find out what parts of Melville are a part of the Half Hollow hills district?

Thanks,

my boss used to live in melville, but, in the south hunington school district, from what he has told me, and, i dont know first hand, he moved because he was not happy with that district.  I hear from many people that Half Hollow Hills is a wonderful district, as you know.  Melville's Tuxedo area goes to that district, Half Hollow Hills, as well as some areas in Dix Hills....I will find out from him on Monday what sections and what streets so that you know where to look exactly.  You can also contact ANY realtor and tell them you want to look at homes ONLY in the Half Hollow Hills school district.  Good Luck, and, I will let you know more on Monday.
