2nd language in kindergarten - 8/17/2008 5:55:09 PM

I am looking for a school district that starts offering a foreign language in elementary school.  Kindergaten would be prefferable.  I understand that to graduate from any decent college these days ( and certainly in the future) students must speak a second language with some proficiency.

Isn't it time we start teaching our kids a foreign language when they are young and most receptive to it?  When I went to school, it was not an option until Jr. high.  I understand that Sag Harbor is starting a program for kindergarten.  Is any one else?
